Centennial Teacher Recognized by FC Dallas

Congrats Graduates!

Congratulations to more than 4,000 students who will cross the stage this week, marking the end of their 13-year journey. Frisco ISD is proud of all that the Class of 2019 has accomplished. Information on graduation ceremonies can be found here.

Players and Coaches Earn District Honors in Softball and Baseball

Mayce Allen of Independence High School has been named the District 9-5A Softball Most Valuable Player and Ryan Bogusz of Lone Star High School has been named the District 9-5A Baseball Most Valuable Player of the 2019 season. Independence’s Kristi Schoblocher was named the District Softball Coach of the Year and Wakeland’s Darrell Preston was named the Baseball Coach of the Year.

Frisco ISD-TV is National Finalist in PSA Contest

A public service announcement (PSA) created by audio/video production students at the Career and Technical Education Center is the Dallas area winner and a national finalist in The Greatest Save Teen PSA contest! The winning PSA, My Uber Driver, was produced by Mason Hueneke (Lone Star High School junior), Madison McFarlane (Heritage High School senior) and Kennedy McGilvery (Lone Star High School senior). Vote here for the national winner through July 15.

Centennial Teacher Recognized by FC Dallas

Chelsey Rogers of Centennial High School is the FC Dallas Teacher of the Month, presented by CoServ. Hooper, the FC Dallas mascot, was there to surprise her with a $500 check to Centennial. Congratulations Mrs. Rogers!
