Frisco High School One Act Play Steps Up to State

Apr 18, 2019

Frisco High School One Act Play.Congratulations to the Frisco High School theatre students who have advanced to the State 5A One Act Play Contest with Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as told by himself). Frisco competed against numerous outstanding performers at the Regional One Act Play in Prosper this week and are thrilled to move to the final competition.

“We are very proud of our theatre students,” said Kristopher Allen, Frisco High School theatre director. “It takes hours of commitment and dedication to compete in UIL One Act Play and they have won at every level of competition as well as received best actor and best technical crew at each contest. We are all super excited!”

Award winners and students progressing to the state are a testament to the hard work of middle and high school theatre teachers in Frisco ISD.

Frisco High School is officially in the top eight in the state of Texas 5A schools.

“These kids have surpassed any expectation that I have had for them,” said Scott Timms, Frisco High School technical theatre director. “Their determination to succeed is unmatched by any group I have had the pleasure of teaching.”

Congratulations on these recognitions received at the Regional One Act Play Contest and good luck in Round Rock.
