Congratulations to the three Frisco ISD students who earned a place in one of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Jazz Bands.
Spencer Singer, a junior at Lebanon Trail High School, made first chair in the TMEA All-State Jazz Band. Only two jazz guitarists are chosen in the state each year.
Jude Morris of Centennial High School earned a fourth chair seat on the TMEA All-State Jazz Band. As a senior, Jude is one of six tenor trombones chosen from across the state.
Joseph Esserine of Lone Star High School is fifth chair in the TMEA All-State Jazz Band. As a senior, this is the second year in a row for Joseph to participate in the All-State Jazz Band.
The Texas Music Educators Association sponsors the Texas All-State audition process to promote music knowledge and skills of students across the state. The students go through a rigorous audition process and provide a recorded audition before obtaining a coveted spot.
