Lebanon Trail Team Tennis Advances to Regional Final

Despite having no seniors, Lebanon Trail High School advanced to the 5A Region II final in team tennis. The Trail Blazers lost to Highland Park in the regional final, but their four playoff victories gave FISD schools nine victories in the team tennis playoffs, matching the most of any 5A UIL district in the state. Wakeland Cross Country Teams Lead Strong FISD Performance at Region Meet

The Wakeland High School girls cross country team won the 5A Region II title on Monday, leading a strong performance by Frisco ISD runners. Wakeland’s boys team (the regional runner-up) and the Liberty girls team (third in region) also qualified for the state meet, which will be Nov. 3 in Round Rock. FISD had a long list of individual qualifiers, led by Reedy High School’s Colleen Stegmann, the 5A Region II girls runner-up. Story and results here.

The Reedy Symphonic Orchestra advanced to the TMEA Honor String Orchestra finals for the first time in school history and ended up ranking sixth overall in the state of Texas!

Frisco ISD Bands Receive 1st Division Rating at Regional Competition

Frisco ISD high school bands competed at the Region 24 UIL Marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 20. All 10 FISD bands received a 1st division rating. Congratulations!
