Wakeland PTSA Makes Mums

Students from Wakeland High School’s PTSA joined together to make homecoming mums (silk chrysanthemums) and garters for their fellow students with special needs. The new orange and blue mums were made from donated mums, garters and supplies, so it was also a great recycling project. Many FISD high schools are creating wonderful projects and events such as this one to include all students in homecoming and other traditional high school milestones. Congratulations to Wakeland PTSA for promoting a fun and inclusive environment for all.
