Schools Help Make Frisco the “Best Place to Live” in America
Frisco tops the list of the best places to live in America, according to a new ranking by MONEY Magazine. The magazine crunched more than 135,000 different data points, including economic health, cost of living, diversity, public education and more to come up with the list. It specifically cited Frisco ISD’s outstanding schools, high graduation rate and academic opportunities for students.
Other cities served by FISD have also been recognized in recent years, including McKinney, which was #1 in 2014, and Plano, which was #3 in 2016. READ MONEY’S PROFILE OF FRISCO

Sixty-one Frisco ISD high school seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists for the Class of 2019. Semifinalists are selected based on their scores on the PSAT and advance in an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. SEE THE LIST OF STUDENTS
Six Music Programs Earn National Recognition
