Registration Underway for the Gary Burns Annual Fun Run

Oct 13, 2017

Don’t miss early bird pricing for the Frisco Education Foundation Gary Burns Annual Fun Run on Saturday, October 28 at Toyota Stadium!

The 5K and one-mile fun run/walk is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Foundation, which exists exclusively to benefit Frisco ISD students and teachers.

Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for students and children through October 15. On October 16, adult registration increases to $30 until online registration closes at 11: 59 p.m. on October 26. Race day registration is $35 for adults and $20 for students.

Registration fees support scholarships for graduating Frisco ISD seniors, classroom grants for innovative educators and Mindbender Academy, a summer camp for FISD middle school students.

“The Frisco Education Foundation relies on the community’s support of the fun run to fund our programs throughout the year,” said FEF Director Allison Miller. “We hope everyone will join us for this fun, family-friendly event!”

This year’s race is presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research at The Star. The one-mile fun run/walk begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m.
