*Frisco ISD is currently subject to requirements of Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order No. GA-29 relating to the use of face coverings during the COVID- 19 disaster.

Current Level: Substantial(Oct 19) - Covid-19 activity level data
NOTE: Due to concerns with the reliability of data provided by Collin County and the Texas Department of State Health Services, Frisco ISD has revised its activity level metrics and thresholds. Frisco ISD will now use reports of positive cases from parents and staff members as the source data for the Covid-19 activity level. To reflect this change, case thresholds have been adjusted based on the District’s total student and staff population but remain consistent with previous thresholds.

Covid-19 Activity Level

Protective measures, including the use of face coverings, will be determined by the level of disease activity of COVID-19, or the requirements of an executive order issued by the Governor of Texas. FISD will utilize reports made to the District of positive cases involving students and staff (on-campus and off-campus cases) to determine the disease activity level and the appropriate protective measures. The disease activity level categories below are based on the recommendations of local and state health officials. Each Sunday afternoon, the COVID-19 activity level for the upcoming week will be posted on the District website and communicated with students, parents and staff.

Students’ individual needs will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Requests for accommodations should be submitted to campus administration.
