Academic Competitions

Frisco ISD supports students in the participation of meaningful academic competitions as a way to challenge themselves academically and to get more involved in their school. These competitions, which complement the student’s academic curriculum, motivate students to acquire higher levels of knowledge, confront issues of importance, and represent their school in a positive light. They can also help students build lifelong skills such as learning to excel under pressure, working collaboratively with a team, and thinking critically. Some of the academic competitions can continue into college for those students that are interested. In Frisco ISD, all campuses offer a minimum number of academic competitions. Based on student interest, campuses can then apply to participate in additional competitions.

The following competitions are offered at all schools:

Elementary

Middle School

High School

CTE Group Competitions
