Student Withdrawal Process

Summer 2020

If your student will not attend Frisco ISD in the 2020-21 school year for either in-person or online instruction, please follow the instructions below depending on whether you have completed the registration process.

Per TEA Educational Code, your student will not be officially withdrawn from Frisco ISD until the first day of school when he or she is not present for either in-person or online instruction. You will continue to receive communications from the school and District leading up to the first day of school on August 13. Simply ignore these communications.

Student records and other paperwork are not sent automatically to parents once they indicate the intent to withdraw. Frisco ISD will respond to records requests from your new school district in August or provide them to parents who choose to homeschool at that time. If you have an immediate need for a withdrawal form due to enrollment in a school this summer, email ISRegistration@friscoisd.org to request a form. Please allow approximately three days for us to get back with you.
