SAT and ACT Test Prep Resources:

Most colleges and universities require a college admissions test, either the SAT (sat.org) or ACT (act.org).  The WHS Counseling Department suggests that students take both tests during the spring semester of their junior year.  If necessary, students may retest during their senior fall semester.  Because college admission and scholarships often rely on test scores, students are encouraged to participate in some test preparation.  Free official practice tests are available in the WHS counseling center.

Frisco ISD has worked to make test preparation affordable for students and families. CollegeBoard offers the Official SAT Online Course.  This course is $69.95 on the CollegeBoard website but Frisco ISD offers all students the opportunity to take this course for ZERO Dollars.  Ask your counselor for an SAT online course code to enroll for free.   www.collegeboard.com

FISD has partnered with the Princeton Review to offer discounted evening and weekend preparation courses.  Princeton Review offers a variety of opportunities including short boot camp prep sessions and long term comprehensive preparation.  Preparation exists prior to each scheduled SAT and or ACT test.  Please visit the Princeton Review online to enroll in specific courses.  www.princetonreview.com
