Our Grant for Great Ideas was Accepted!

Based on an idea by Mrs. Warner, Mrs. Brightwell, our Scoggins librarian, wrote a grant called "Serials for Seahawks." We are pleased to announce the grant was accepted by the Frisco Education Foundation! The grant will enable selected Scoggins students to receive one magazine subscription for both them and their parents. These subscriptions will be delivered to their homes in order to promote reading at home, as well as at school. This program is designed so these students will have access to high-interest reading materials that will encourage them to get interested and stay interested in reading for pleasure. We look forward to launching this program in the next few weeks!
