Assistant Principals Named for Scoggins

Ms. Kelye Garcie began teaching special education in 1999.  She has proudly served Frisco ISD since 2003, as both a middle school teacher and the district's In-Home and Parent Trainer. After earning a master’s in Educational Leadership and her principal certification, Ms. Garcie was named the Extended School Year (ESY) Principal for special education in Frisco ISD for the summer of 2008.  She lists being named a Scoggins Middle School assistant principal as among her highest accomplishments, and she looks forward to serving and making the opening year a successful and memorable one for all SMS stakeholders.

Mr. Lynn Pogue joined the FISD team at Clark Middle School in 2004.  Prior to that, Mr. Pogue was a band director and administrative intern for Krum Middle and High School, and was also a former band director for Tison Junior High School in Weatherford.  Mr. Pogue’s bachelor’s degree is from Arkansas Tech University and his master’s degree and mid-management certifications are from the University of North Texas.  He also looks forward to working with all of our Seahawk families in this opening year.
