Dr. Mike Waldrip is the Principal of Liberty High School. He is beginning his 27th year as an educator, with eleven of those being in administration. Prior to taking the top job at Liberty, Dr. Waldrip was the FISD Director of Secondary Instruction and also served as Principal of Clark Middle School in FISD for two years.

Before coming to FISD, Dr. Waldrip was an Assistant Principal at Seminole High School for four years. He taught and coached in Seminole, Goliad and Victoria high schools. He earned his Bachelors degree from Texas Tech, his Masters Degree is from Sul Ross and his Doctoral degree is from University of North Texas. Dr. Waldrip and his family are proud residents of Frisco.
