Claude Curtsinger Elementary
Curtsinger Elementary embodies a positive, can-do spirit. This spirit permeates our school and all who enter it. Curtsinger’s spirit of enthusiasm, community, respect, and commitment becomes a part of your personal life experience the moment you walk through its doors.
The Curtsinger mission statement – we will be “a positive, challenging, and nurturing learning environment where children, teachers, and parents work together” – is evident throughout the school. Everywhere there are indications that teachers, parents, and staff work together to educate the whole child. Children participate in brain-based learning through experiences ranging from inspirational PTA programs and Good Morning Curtsinger assemblies to physical education tournaments, art displays, and musical presentations. Curtsinger is committed to academic success and high expectations for all students. Students at Curtsinger know that hard work is the basis of excellence and that opportunities to play hard are important, as well.
Since 1995, Curtsinger Elementary has woven its magic into the city of Frisco. Families have moved here, built a community here, thrived here, and settled here. Through it all, Curtsinger Elementary and its commitment to excellence has been the common thread. |
