Anna Koenig
Principal
Mrs. Koenig has been in the district since 1998, when she joined us as a gifted and talented teacher, working in second and fourth grades and also serving in the role of team leader. She served as assistant principal at Shawnee Trail for two years and helped open Spears Elementary this year. Prior to coming to the FISD, she taught for seven years in the Irving ISD and in a school district in Los Angeles. Her bachelor’s degree is from Texas A&M University; her master’s degree is from the University of North Texas. |

Christina Beran
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Beran has been in the district for ten years, working as a third grade teacher and for the past five years an assistant principal. She received a Bachelors degree from Tarleton State University and went on to receive her Masters from the University of North Texas. When she is not serving as Assistant Principal, Mrs. Beran enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and her son, Lincoln who is 19 months.
