Monica Jackson

This year will be my fourteenth year in education and I have to say, “There is no place like Frisco ISD and there is definitely no place like Anderson Elementary!”  Anderson is a fabulous school sparkling in pride and excellence and I’m proud to be the new principal!

I was born and raised in the Lone Star State. I grew up in Sherman, Texas, and my parents still live there. After graduating from Texas Christian University, I was employed by Melissa Independent School District. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce and served as the Melissa ISD middle school and elementary school counselor for two years. In 2001 I was hired to serve as counselor for Ruth Borchardt Elementary in Frisco ISD.  I received my Principal’s Certification from Texas A&M-Commerce in May of 2004. I became the Assistant Principal of Borchardt in 2006 and served in that capacity for three years.

My husband, Paul, and I have two children. Georgia will be one year old in July and Will is going to be five in August.  I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling, and reading.
