| DESTINATION SUCCESS: CAREER PATHWAYS |
 |
The following form (CTE Programs of Study) should serve as a guide, along with other career planning materials, as students continue to plan for their future. Courses listed within this Program of Study are recommended courses and should be individualized to meet each learner’s educational and career goals. All programs should meet high school
recommended graduation requirements. Courses with a “CTE” prefix are proposed to be offered at the FISD Career & Technology Center.
View the individual pathways below for additional information on other elective pathway courses and information on
post-secondary opportunities specific to the individual pathways.

CTE students will take introductory classes and all core classes at their home campus and then take advanced courses at the CTE Center. When students select a career pathway, they are not selecting a college major or making a life-long commitment to a specific occupation. Selecting a career pathway is an opportunity for students to choose electives that truly interest them, providing a meaningful connection to curriculum and time spent in school.
