Dr. Wes Cunningham, Principal

Wes Cunningham is the Principal of the Frisco ISD Career & Technical Education Center as well as the Curriculum Director for Frisco ISD Career & Technical Education. He is beginning his 16th year as an educator, with seven of those being in administration. Prior to being named principal & curriculum director, Dr. Cunningham was an assistant principal in FISD for three years. 

Before coming to FISD, Dr. Cunningham was an Assistant Principal at JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, TX for two years.  He taught and was the athletic trainer at JJ Pearce High School before being named as an assistant principal. 

His Bachelor’s degree is from Southern Methodist University, his Masters Degree is from Texas A&M University – Commerce, as is his Doctorate. 

Dr. Cunningham is married with two children.
