 My name is Jim Kazanski and I am the principal of the KEYS program. I've been an administrator for 12 years with Frisco and Plano ISD's. Prior to that, I worked for 16 years as a teacher, coach, and athletic coordinator. I earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, and a master's degree from TWU. My wife Kathy serves as principal at Ashley Elementary in FISD. Two of our three boys are college graduates and one is a Junior at Texas A&M. |

I have been married to Roland for 25 years and we have two children; both attended FISD schools from kindergarted through 12th grade, and graduated from Frisco High School. Kyle is now an Irving police officer and Kori attends Collin College. |

 My name is Lisa Vernon. I am a school social worker with Frisco ISD in the KEYS program. I have been a social worker and advocate for families for the past (18) years. My family and I moved to Frisco from Champaign, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and earned my B.A. in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. My husband and I have been married 16 wonderful years, have (4) wonderful children: Ronnie, Keonte, Jeren, and Landen. We also owned and operated a dance studio for children and families called Protégé Dance Conservatory.

Shortly after graduating from Texas Tech in 1981, I began my teaching career in Richardson, Texas.
After 15 years in Richardson, I moved to Frisco, and worked at Rogers Elementary before coming to the KEYS program. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I have 2 children ages 25 and 23. My son was recently married, and is also teaching and coaching in Frisco ISD. My husband, Dave, and I like to travel, and enjoy watching our daughter play college softball. |

I am so excited about starting my fifth year at KEYS. I grew up in Carrolton, Texas and graduated from University of Texas at Dallas in December, 2004. I love learning and trying new things. When I am away from school, I love spending time with my family, my husband, and friends. |

I was born in Ohio and have lived in Texas for the last 29 years, with a brief visit of five years in Las Vegas. I have been married to a wonderful lady, Kathy, for the last 8 years. I have a son who graduated from Ohio State University and now works in New Mexico. I have taught science for 13 years.I enjoy college sports, working out, and music. |

 My name is Heather McGowan. I am a native Texan. I graduated from Plano Senior High School and received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. I worked for a consulting firm for 5 years before going back to school for my teaching certification. I realized that helping children was truly my passion. I received my certification in Math and Special Education. I have taught middle school for the past 5 years in both McKinney and Frisco and am currently the Special Education teacher in the KEYS program. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in School Counseling. My husband Sean and I have two children, Grant, who is 4 years old, and Gage, who was born this past July. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending sporting events, listening to music, going to dinner, and shopping! |

 My name is Amy Martinez and I am extremely excited to be part of the new academic program here at Acker. I am originally from Colleyville, Texas and recieved my degree in Education from Oklahoma State University. I married my best friend Brandon three years ago and then we moved the wonderful city of Frisco. For the past three years I have taught 8th grade reading at Staley Middle School, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Library Science from TWU. In my free time, I love to be outside, read, run, and spend time with my family. |

I have been with the Gainesville ISD the past 15 years where I taught 5th and 6th grade Computer Science. I have three children, all of whom are married and have blessed me with 7 grandchildren.  My name is Kim Jacobs. I was born in Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. My husband, David, and I made Texas our home in 1988. We lived in Las Colinas for 18 years and moved to Frisco 2 years ago. We have 2 daughters attending high school in Frisco. last year, I enjoyed working as a substitute teacher in FISD, and this year I look forward to working with the students and staff at KEYS. I enjoy spending time with my family, skiing, horseback riding, reading and cooking. |
