Coach Mark Howard

Welcome to CHS Athletics!  Centennial High School has just completed its most outstanding year in the 6 short years the school has been in existence.  In addition to being named as an “Exemplary Campus” by the Texas Education Agency, CHS was also ranked as the # 9 high school in the Dallas Morning News’ HS Sports Awards Edition.  Centennial ranked 2nd in District 9-4A and #9 overall in the area.  This is a tremendous accomplishment and speaks very highly of the student athletes and coaches who have worked so hard to make the CHS athletic program the best it can be.

Listed below are the individual and team sports which qualified for post season competition this past school year:

Volleyball – Play-offs

Team Tennis – District Runner – Up and Regional Quarter-Finalist

As coaches, we know that it takes a lot more than just talent to build a program and make it successful.  It requires support from the administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents.  There is no doubt that we have all those factors in place.  We appreciate the opportunity to work with your sons and daughters and hope that we can teach and give them the tools that will help them be successful as they continue their journey down the road of life.  Our coaching staff pledges to “Press On” in our relentless pursuit of excellence.

I encourage you, as parents and community members, to join the team and be there to support not only your own son or daughter but all who are involved in our athletic program.  “All the best” as we head into the new school year!
