Each month, Frisco ISD honors staff members who go above and beyond each day. These individuals make campuses a welcoming place for students, parents and staff while ensuring learning is prioritized for all students every day.
This month, Shalee Hill of the Early Childhood School and Lashon Gales of Tadlock Elementary were recognized for their hard work with a surprise visit from Dr. Waldrip and a certificate of recognition. Next spring, they will be honored at an exclusive event.
Congratulations to the latest honorees who are clearly deserving of the honor!
Shalee Hill - Early Childhood School
Paraprofessional Shalee Hill is committed to the special education students in her structured learning class (SLC) at the Early Childhood School. Whether leading students or fellow paraprofessionals, she leads with a servant’s heart and is always problem-solving and doing what is best. She implements communication devices, manages behavior, takes data and executes lesson plans with a clear command of how to support students' needs with her natural intuition. She is an advocate for students and paraprofessionals and never hesitates to facilitate whatever can be done to make learning a priority in the classroom. The Early Childhood School is thankful for her commitment to her peers and students!
Lashon Gales - Tadlock Elementary School
Lashon Gales is the assistant principal at Tadlock Elementary, where she inspires her staff to truly be their best selves. She is encouraging and leaves notes when she visits classrooms and is frequently looking for new ways to put a smile on the face of her peers and students. She prioritizes relationships with staff, students and parents, making sure that everyone feels heard and supported in a caring environment. She has even been known to ride the bus after school to help students make positive choices and to support the bus driver. This year and in years past, Gales has served as leader, colleague, cheerleader, motivator, problem solver, custodian, teacher, advisor and friend. Thank you for your dedication to Tadlock and FISD!
