Documentary to Raise Awareness About Anxiety

Feb 13, 2018

AngstFrisco ISD, in partnership with the Frisco ISD Council of PTAs, will host a screening of the documentary Angst, an IndieFlix Original. The documentary is designed to raise awareness about anxiety with an emphasis on youth and families.

The film includes interviews with children, teens, parents and experts. “Angst” assists viewers with identifying and understanding the symptoms of anxiety and encourages individuals and families to reach out for help. Corresponding materials provide tools and resources for families.

This event is scheduled twice on March 6. The first screening is during the school day in the FISD Administration Board Room at 5515 Ohio, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is for parents only. The evening screening will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Board Room and is open to parents, staff and students who are age 10 and above.
