High School Photographers Recognized

Several Frisco ISD high school students received recognition in the 2017 Association of Texas Photography Instructors Fall Contest, which was held Saturday, November 11.

Six judges spent seven hours judging more than 6800 entries from 87 schools. The entries came from schools across Texas, plus California. Students who received honors include:

Advanced Photography

Frisco High School

Tara Driskill - First Honorable in the Open photography category, Honorable Mention in Informal /Environmental Portrait photography

Beginner Photography

Frisco High School

Hunter Rutledge – First Place in Student Life Photography, Third Place in Sports/Action photography

 Sydney Bope - First Honorable in the Cellphone photography

Grace Lodge – Honorable Mention in Nature photography

Heritage High School

Kristen Mimms – First Place in Architecture/City Scape category, Honorable Mention in Informal/environmental

Ryan Forino - Third Place in Animal photography

Izabele Bazih – First Honorable in Travel photography

Derin Barzani - Honorable Mention in Animal photography

Rhyan Colbert – Honorable Mention in Nature photography
