FFA Chapters Participate in District V FFA Leadership Development Event

Team from Liberty FFAThe Frisco ISD FFA Chapters traveled to Anna to compete at the District V FFA Leadership Development Event contest on Tuesday, November 7.

Chapters from Centennial, Heritage, Liberty and Wakeland high schools each advanced, for a total of six teams to the Area V FFA Leadership Development Event contest. The Area V contest will be held in Bells, Texas on Wednesday, November 15.

Students and teams advancing to the Area V contest include:

  • Centennial FFA placed 1st in the Ag Advocacy Contest. Team members included Gabby Ferrer, Isabel Lagmay, Faith McDonald and Kassi Varga.
  • Heritage FFA placed 1st in the Greenhand Quiz Contest. Team members included Amber Caffee, Jayden Fogarty, Madelyn Miller and Katherine Rollefson.
  • Liberty FFA placed 2nd in the Ag Advocacy Contest, 1st in the Public Relations Contest and 1st in the Senior Creed Speaking Contest. Team members included Hannah Alnemer, Brogan Gunia, Katie Love, Hailey Middleton, Jordan Miller, Kirk Niekamp, Halston Searls, Kiaree Waller and Claire Webb.
  • Wakeland FFA placed 2nd in the Agricultural Issues Forum Contest. Team members included Audrey Clinch, Bailey Lawlor and Payton Williams.
