Lindsey Morrison, a graphic design and illustration student at the Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education Center, designed the official poster for the 7th Annual Arts in the Square.
The outdoor fine arts and crafts festival will be held April 2-3 in Frisco Square. Admission and parking are free.
Proceeds from this community event go to the Frisco Education Foundation and Frisco Family Services.
Morrison’s design was one of three finalists in a poster contest, with the winner chosen by community members on Facebook.
Other finalists were fellow CTE students Cory Madden and Rachel Goodman. Honorable mentions included Delaney Wright and Kayleigh Kowaleski.
The posters had to include the artwork of FISD winners in the other portion of the poster contest – including Jackie Marzollo of Sparks Elementary, Breanna Oudthone of Purefoy Elementary, Bayli Brown of Roach Middle School and Darci Massey of Lone Star High School.
Morrison and the other four winners will each receive $100. They will be recognized during the festival.
