
Frisco ISD School Board Election Information (March 2005)
Elections being held jointly between cities of Frisco and Plano and Frisco and Plano ISDs to save money and allow for voter convenience
Early Voting for FISD Board of Trustees Election has begun
Two places on the seven-member FISD Board are open - Place 4, previously held by Jimmy Gaffney, and Place 5 currently held by Richard Beaver. Richard Beaver is running unopposed for a second term in Place 5. Brenda J. Polk and Jeff Kocher are running for Place 4. Board member seats are three-year terms and are staggered; there are no term limits. For more information regarding candidates, check your local newspapers.
Please note, early voting locations have been changed in Frisco ISD, and please be aware that voters must vote at certain sites based on where they live.
Hours of early voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday, April 20, 2005, and ending on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, with extended early voting hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2005, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2005.
