Crowds Turn Out for District Art Show (March, 2008)

The hallways of Liberty High School were filled with colorful drawings and sculptures recently as the campus hosted the FISD District Youth Art Month Exhibit. Works from every campus, elementary, middle and high school were displayed over a two-night event.

The exhibit was a chance for the community, parents and students to see the talent that is being nurtured by FISD within its Fine Arts programs. The district has a history of producing some talented artists and of sending student’s work on to state competition. Large crowds attended the event, which had to be held over two nights to accommodate the number of entries from each campus.
