Bad Weather Information
With winter weather upon north Texas, thoughts of possible school closings due to bad weather come to mind. Student and teacher safety is a top priority for Frisco ISD. When inclement weather is predicted, school officials will make the decision by 6:00 a.m. the day of a possible closing based on the current and predicted weather and road conditions. When dangerous conditions exist, we ask parents to listen to the news on the radio or television stations and to check the FISD website, Facebook or Twitter accounts for potential changes in the regular schedule. An email will also be sent to all FISD parents in the case of a school cancellation. MORE INFORMATION ON WEATHER RELATED CLOSINGS AND DELAYS
