You’ll notice some significant changes to the District website, www.friscoisd.org, starting next Friday, February 6.
Frisco ISD will debut a new look and feel for the site that is intended to enhance the overall user experience.
New features will include improved functionality, enhanced search capabilities with easy access to the most requested information and the ability to use the site across multiple devices including smart phones and tablets.
The goal is to better serve the needs of all stakeholders who seek information about our District and schools.
“We see the website as a critical tool in communicating with our students, parents and community – not just those who are here, but those who will continue to move to our school district,” said Shana Wortham, FISD Executive Director of Communications and Community Relations. “We believe awareness and understanding of our District programs, initiatives and accomplishments provides the context for meaningful discussion and interactions that will continue to shape who we are and where we’re headed in the future.”
The focus of the initial website transition will be converting to the new design. Additional features will be added over time.
The change will not impact the school websites, hosted at http://schools.friscoisd.org, which will still be accessed by clicking on the Schools tab from the homepage.
We hope you like what you see and appreciate your patience and understanding through this transition.
