The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees approved several administrative positions during their March Board meeting, and members are expected to approve additional assignments in April.
New administrative hires for the 2014-2015 school year include:
Pam Linton, currently the Executive Director for Secondary in the Human Resources Department of Richardson ISD, has been hired as the new Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources in Frisco ISD. Linton has 16 years of administrative experience. In addition to her current role, she held the lead position in the area of elementary hiring for five years. Also, she was previously Executive Director for Elementary Instruction and Operations in RISD. She has been an assistant principal and began her teaching career in 1990 in Austin ISD. Linton’s bachelor’s degree is from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree is from Southwest Texas State University. She has her Superintendent’s Certification and is working toward her doctoral degree at Dallas Baptist University. Ms. Linton will replace Dr. Linda Bass who is retiring this summer after 34 years of education, 13 of those in FISD.
Brenda Youngblood, currently assistant principal at Fisher Elementary, will be the new principal at Corbell Elementary School. The 23-year veteran educator began her teaching career in 1990 as a first grade teacher in Moulton ISD. She went on to teach in Academy, Kilgore and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISDs before joining FISD as a first grade teacher in 2002. Youngblood became an assistant principal in 2008 at Gunstream Elementary. Her bachelor’s degree is from Texas State University and her master’s degree is from Dallas Baptist University.
Erin Miller, currently an assistant principal at Frisco High School, will be the associate principal at Lone Star High School.
Cami Patzkowski, currently a fourth grade teacher at Carroll Elementary, will be assistant principal at Bright Elementary.
Wendy Hudson, currently a coordinator in Professional Development, will be assistant principal at Curtsinger Elementary.
Jenny McGowan, currently an instructional coach at Comstock Elementary, will be assistant principal at Rogers Elementary.
Marcy Corley, currently an instructional coach at Christie Elementary, will be assistant principal at Spears Elementary.
Loryn Tobey, currently an instructional coach at Phillips Elementary, will be assistant principal at Hosp Elementary.
Rachael Lamar, currently an instructional coach at Rogers Elementary, will be assistant principal at Newman Elementary.
Jenna Gates, currently the science instructional coach at Frisco High School, will be assistant principal at Frisco High.
Chakosha Powell, currently an assistant principal at J.J. Pearce in Richardson ISD, will be a new assistant principal at Independence High School.
Stephanie Sipes, currently an assistant principal at Shepton High School in Plano ISD, will be a new assistant principal at Independence High School.
Brent Benningfield, currently a teacher/coach at Wakeland High School, will be an assistant principal at Heritage High School.
In FISD, movement of existing assistant principals occurs with an eye toward building strong administrative teams on campuses and providing assistant principals with a variety of experiences that will prepare them for a principal position in the future.

Jeimi Sayklay will move from Spears Elementary to Riddle Elementary.
Melanie Davis will move from Robertson Elementary to Carroll Elementary.
Steven Bazan will move from Pink Elementary to Comstock Elementary.
Mindy Arends will move from Carroll Elementary to Elliott Elementary.
Kena Robertson will move from Boals Elementary to Fisher Elementary.
Kranti Singh will move from Vandeventer Middle School to McSpedden Elementary.
