| FISD Schools Selected as TBEC Honor Roll Campuses |

Dr. Debra Nelson, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, has announced the Texas Business Education Coalition (TBEC) Honor Roll campuses. Schools and principals are as follows:
- Beverly Woodson-Bledsoe Elementary
- Betty King-Borchardt Elementary
- Manual Gonzales-Christie Elementary
- Nancy Lawson-Fisher Elementary
- Rachel Taylor- Riddle Elementary
These principals will be attending a ceremony in San Antonio, TX, along with 2 campus representatives in honor of their selection. The TBEC Honor Roll is the most prestigious award for sustained, academic excellence in Texas. It recognizes schools that have demonstrated three years of consistent, high performance in all subjects compared to other schools serving similar student populations. TBEC Honor Roll schools have the highest percentage of students performing at the state's most rigorous standard-commended- in every subject. Of the more than 8,000 Texas public schools less than 4% will be honored.
