Staley Student Surprised by Visit from Congressman(March, 2008)

Staley Middle School student Pranathi Baddipudi was surprised by a visit from U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson and his wife Shirley on Monday, March 24, to present her with a second place award for her submission to the "American Heroes: Our Veterans" essay contest.

  
Her essay, along with the other two winners from the Congressman's district, were read into the Congressional Record. Congressman Johnson spoke to her class and read her essay aloud.
