Each month the Frisco Rotary Club that meets at noon honors outstanding Frisco ISD seniors for their accomplishments and achievements.
On Thursday, October 29th, Rotarians recognized Centennial High students Ashley Newton and Cameron Pulsifer.
Ashley is the daughter of Ron and Marcia Newton. She is involved in the CHS Science Club (President), National Honor Society(Volunteer Coordinator), National Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math club. Ashley’s awards include being named National Merit Semifinalist, AP Scholar with Distinction, Spirit of Tom Landry Character Award, Leadership and Excellence Award at SW Youth Leadership
Conference, Academic All-Star and Valedictorian. Ashley would like to attend Yale where she would like to double major in Molecular Biology and Chemistry.
Cameron is the son of Dale and Dianne Pulsifer. He is involved in Cross Country (Captain), Track (Captain), National Honors Society and DECA. Cameron’s awards include 2008 district runner-up in Cross Country and district runner up in the 2009 track season in 1600m and 3200m runs. He also volunteers for Clothe a Child and is a member of Young Life. Cameron plans to attend TCU where he wants to major in Business/Finance.
