Attention Parents of WHS Athletes:

A new STAAR media toolkit brings together resources that educators and reporters can use to help explain the new State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readinessprogram to the public.The toolkit includes answers to frequently asked questions, testing calendars, sample questions that illustrate the increasing rigorof state tests over the past 30 years and more.Additionally, new information is posted virtually every school day on the main STAAR website.

Important information for WHS students who have a 1st period class at the CTE CENTER.
Students who want to catch the CTE bus at WHS for a first period class need to meet the bus in the back of the school at the bus loop at 7:45. Students may also catch the bus from their closest elementary campus at 8:00am. Parents can also take their student to the CTE center and they will be able to ride a bus back to campus.
