The Go Center is located on the Wakeland High School campus. The Go center staff is on our campus every Wednesday from 8:30-12:30. They are located in room B102.

In the Fall, Seniors are the focus for college applications. And, in the Spring, Juniors have a chance to be introduced to the ACT/SAT and the college application process.

What is the GoCenter?

• It provides a great resource that creates a school-wide college going culture to promote college awareness
• It's one-on-one support for students to ask questions regarding:
• Admissions
• Financial Aid
• PSAT/SAT/ACT/THEA
• College Myths
• Public vs. Private Universities
• Selecting a Career
• And much more…
• This is part of a statewide campaign to motivate and to raise awareness among students and families about the benefits of higher education and how to prepare for it academically and financially.

Although the GoCenter staff are UNT students they help WHS students reach their goals of attending ANY college or university.
