Today, February 11, 2010, at Wakeland High School in Frisco Texas, we had 2 student athletes sign to play college athletics for Georgia State University.

Message from the coach:   Both girls have been a part of the Wakeland Varsity Track team for all 4 years of High School.  They have been a major part of our team and will be truly missed. Last year at the Regional Track meet both girls jumped their personal best Tatiana 19'9.75 and Talia 19'3.  This is an improvement by more than 3 feet from their freshman year.  Both girls have been at the State track meet several times.  As sophomores both ran on the 4x400 meter relay and finished 2nd and Tatiana also competed in the Long Jump with a 5th place finish. As juniors both girls competed in the Long Jump Tatiana place 3rd while Talia was 4th.  We have great expectations for the girls as Seniors.
