ACCOMPLISMENTS FOR 2010-2011

• Exemplary Campus for 2010!
• 7th Grade NCA Most Improved 2010:Cheerleading.
• FCA & TL collected over 500 items during our annual canned food drive. A Staley parent was able to get Pepsi Co. to donate 2000 lbs of food to Frisco Family Services in Staley's name. Way to go Staley!
• Chain Links Group collected left over Halloween candy, and along with Wise Orthodontics will send to our troops to share with Iraqi children through the 'Smiles Save Lives' Program.
• 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team placed 2nd in The Invitational Tournament on 12/11/2010.
• NJHS raised $512 during 'Hats on Day."
• Four Staley students won the "Mavs Academic All-Star Award."

• 8th grade boys BB Team placed 3rd in District by winning the consolation round of the MS BB Tourney.
• 8th grade boys placed 2nd, in the FISD CC Meet.

• District Track Meet standouts: Dylan Delashaw placed 2nd in Boys 800 M run; Brandon Flores placed 1st in Boys 300 M hurdles; Sam Schwietz placed 1st in Boys Discuss throw and 3rd in Boys Shot Put.
• Congratulations to The Boys 8th Grade Soccer Team - District Champions 2011.
• Congratulations to Carl Jefferson, 1st place winner; Fight the Bite Poster Contest (2nd year in a row).
• State Recognition for the Duke Tip Talent Search goes to the following students: Isabella Dolande, Spencer Gold, Nelson Levy, and Zach Statzer. Abby Eaton, Zach Statzer and Nelson Levy were invited for Summer Studies. Congratulation students!
• Jenna Zapata - Placed State in photography and won six ribbons in PTA Reflections Competition.

• Theatre 2011 UIL - 2 All Star Cast Awards to Hollee Hughes and Carrie Wilkins; 3 Honorary Awards to Colton Morris, Lindsey Hughes, and Kaila Hunter; 1 Tech Award.

ACCOMPLISMENTS FOR 2009-2010

• 7th grade Boys Soccer Team won District Champions, the 5th team to win District title in school history!
• Staley Stampede Jazz Ensemble earned 1st place in the Middle School Division at the Highlander/Wesleyan Jazz Festival on May 8, 2010. For complete story click here.
• NJHS raised and donated over 100 items for SPAN (Senior's Pet Assistance Network) on April 23, 2010.
• Mrs. Calloway was selected as a winner of the Dallas Maverick Teacher Recognition program: Headline.
• 7th grade boys placed 2nd overall in the District Cross Country Meet: Dylan Delashaw placed 1st overall in the 7th grade.
• Mark Collins, 8th grader, won The Spelling Bee competition at Staley.
• NJHS raised $533 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Cancer Society during our 'Pennies for Patients' fundraiser.
• NJHS raised $500 with a "Hats on Day." Funds raised went to The Foundation for Children with Cancer. Headline.
• Staley Middle School is on the Just for the Kids List of Texas Higher Performing Schools!
• 8th grade girl's basketball team: Champions of the White Bracket for the FISD Invitational.
• 8th grade boy's basketball team: Champions of the Little Elm Tournament.
• 7th Grade boy's basketball placed 2nd in District Tournament.

• The Partner's Theater program is outstanding and allows our kids to serve special needs kids on campus
• We have the only middle school guitar program in the district.
• It is not official yet, but we will likely move to an EXEMPLARY RATING THIS YEAR!!!
