New FISD Registration Process for All Students

Effective for the 2010-2011 school year, ALL

students are required to register for school through our new on-line system.

Below are the instructions for each type of student: Returning and New.

Returning Students | New to FISD Students

Registration will require Internet access and a printer. If you do not have access to a computer and/or printer, please visit the Stafford front office to complete your student’s registration on the appropriate dates for registration.

RETURNING Students to FISD

Students who attended FISD last school year need to follow the steps listed below.

STEP ONE: Acquire a "Snapcode" ID

• A "Snapcode" ID number was mailed to your student’s primary address. This is a registration code to be used to make the registration process easier on parents.
• Logon to www.friscoisd.org and follow the snapcode links at the top of the home page and complete the registration process.
• At the end of the online registration, an Acknowledgement Form must be printed and signed by the parent.

STEP TWO: Bring Documentation to the School

• Your Acknowledgement Form, printed and signed. 
• Handbook Addendum Signature Page, printed and signed. Stafford Student Handbook Addendum
• Proof of Residence (must be a copy of current water, gas or electric bill--cable or cell phone bills will not work)
• Current immunization record – ONLY if the Stafford nurse has contacted you about the school needing an updated copy.      

These steps must be completed before your student can pick up their schedule on Schedule Pick-up Night. Returning Student documentation will be accepted on

August 4th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 18th, and 20th.  Office hours are 8:00 – 4:00. We will be closed from 12:00 – 1:00 for lunch.

NEW Students to FISD

New students to Frisco ISD, should follow the steps below.

STEP ONE: Bring Documentation to the School during New Student Registration or call for an appointment.

• Completed Pre-Enrollment Form, printed and signed.
• Completed TEA Ethnicity Form
• Completed Handbook Addendum Signature Page
• Completed course request card (available at the Stafford Office)
• Student’s birth certificate
• Student’s social security card
• Student’s current immunization record
• Enrolling Parent’s driver license
• Proof of Residence (must be a current water, gas or electric bill, new lease or closing papers)
• Student’s Report Card and Testing Scores

Copies will be made for you at our office.  Printed forms will also be available.

STEP TWO: Acquire a "Snapcode" ID

• A snapcode ID number will be emailed to your primary email address within 24 hours of receiving the documents listed above OR you may wait at Stafford to receive your snapcode.  Wait times will vary.
• Logon to www.friscoisd.org and follow the snapcode links at the top of the home page and complete the registration process. Computers will be available at Stafford for your convenience.
• At the end of the online registration, an acknowledgement form must be printed and signed by the parent.

STEP THREE:  Turn in Documentation to complete Registration  

• Your Acknowledgement Form, printed and signed.

These steps must be completed and all documentation must be on file before your student can pick up their schedule on Schedule Pick-up Night.  New to District Student Registration is on Thursday, August 5 and Friday, August 6, 2010 from 8:30 – 4:00 closed from 11:00 – 1:00 each day.   Student Evening Registration is on August 9, from 4:30 – 7:30.  Please call the office at 469-633-5100 to schedule an appointment if you are unable to attend on the New Student Registration days.
