Important Information Regarding 8th grade math CBE testing for 7th grade Pre-AP Math students

We are pleased to announce that Isabella Alexander, Hannah Beard, John Beard, Kasyap Bendapudi, Victoria Enderle, Kirstie Friedel, Madison Gray, Mitchell Houghtlin, Jake James, Abigail Jenkins, Elayne Joe, Daniel Leon, Emily Mihm, Maxwell Nakos, Jacob Newman, Elizabeth Plumer, Jillian Smith, Jonathan Waterman, and Veda Yagnik have qualified for state recognition through DUKE's Seventh grade Talent Search. The Talent Search identifies academically advanced 7th graders based on standardized test scores achieved during elementary or middle school. Candidates are identified and invited to complete either the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT Assessment college entrance examination.
Hunt Middle School is proud to extend congratulations and recognize the distinguished academic achievement of these very diligent students.

Parents please remind your student that if they are not feeling well and think they may need to go home sick, they need to ask their teacher to see Nurse Solomon. She will evaluate them and make the decision if parents need to be called. Calling or texting their parent during the school day is a violation of the district's BYOD policy and could result in your child's phone being taken up by their teacher. Most importantly your student's safety and health is our biggest concern, so please remind them to see Nurse Solomon when they aren't feeling well.
