Two-part Webinar Series:
Understanding Admissions (Admissions 101) & Understanding Financial Aid (Financial Aid 101)
In the first session of the series, students and families will learn about the process of applying for college admission. Participants will learn about the variety of institutions and program offerings in higher education, discover factors to consider and question as they initiate the college selection process, and learn about various tools for applying to college.
In the second session, students and families will learn about the basics of applying for financial aid. Topics will include types of aid, important forms and the items needed to complete them, key dates, common errors to avoid, and more.

SAT and ACT Test Prep Resources:
- FISD is pleased to offer SAT and ACT Test Method Preparation through Family Connection. Students can hear audio explanations of test questions, access strategy guides for each test, complete full-length practice tests, receive hundreds of practice questions, read easy explanations to every question, track their strengths on each test, receive valuable test-taking tips, take practice quizzes and access their courses on an unlimited 24X7 basis. FISD provides SAT and ACT Method free of charge to students.
- FISD has partnered with the Princeton Review to offer discounted evening and weekend preparation courses. Princeton Review offers a variety of opportunities including short boot camp prep sessions and long term comprehensive preparation. Preparation exists prior to each scheduled SAT and or ACT test.
