Meet Our Administration

Principal: Sylvia Palacios

Sylvia PalaciosSylvia Palacios is currently the Principal at Frisco High School. Prior to this position, she was an Assistant Principal and Associate Principal at FHS. She has been in education for 34 years and has been an administrator for 17 years. Mrs. Palacios has been in Richardson ISD where she served as the Department Chair of Foreign Languages, was the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, and started her administrative career in RISD as an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Palacios earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Texas State University and earned her Master’s in Education from Texas A&M-Commerce. She and her husband have been married for 33 years and have raised two daughters. Mrs. Palacios loves to be with her family, her friends and to travel. She takes great pride in the FHS students, teachers, and community and believes that All students can be successful. She takes great pride in the Frisco Raccoons and has a true passion for the Blue and Gold.


Associate Principal: Cade Smith

Cade Smith

Cade Smith is the Associate Principal at Frisco High School.  Prior to this position, he served as an Assistant Principal at FHS.  He has been in education for 13 years.  Prior to coming to FHS, Mr. Smith was a teacher and Varsity Football Coach with stops at Allen High School, Kaufman High School, and Lockhart High School.  Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University (currently Texas State University) in San Marcos, TX.  He received his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.    He is married to Haley Smith and has 2 children Callen and Taylor.  Mr. Smith’s hobbies include saltwater fishing and anything to do with his kids.  He is proud to be a member of THE Original, Frisco High School.


FHS Assistant Principal: Kerry Antwine

Kerry AntwineKerry Antwine has been an assistant principal at Frisco High School since 2006. A native Texan, Kerry received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Oklahoma Christian University in 1978. After teaching in Oklahoma for six years, he made the move to Texas, where he continued teaching for another 11 years. Through the years he has taught geography, physical education and computer literacy. While teaching in Texas, he received his Master of Education in Administration from Texas A&M Commerce in 2003. Prior to FHS, Kerry served as an assistant principal at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas. Kerry’s wife of 33 years, Sheila, is a fifth grade teacher at Ashley Elementary in Frisco. They have a daughter, Nicole, New Media Manager at UNT Health Science Center; son-in-law Timothy, English teacher at Trinity Springs Middle School; and 2 1/2 year old grandson Caleb, who live in Keller. They are expecting a granddaughter in January of 2012.


FHS Assistant Principal: Jon Boettcher

Jon Boettcher is beginning his third year as an Assistant Principal at Frisco High School and 24th year in Education.  Mr. Boettcher, although a native Montanan, earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and his Master of Educational Administration from Texas A&M University at Commerce.  Mr. Boettcher’s career began in El Paso, TX teaching Secondary Mathematics.  Along his career path to Frisco ISD, he had stepping stones through Hallsville as a math teacher and coach and Plano as Math teacher and Administrator.  Mr. Boettcher is married to Bernadette, has three children and one grandchild.  He loves spending time with his wife, watching his children’s activities, playing with his granddaughter and completing his bucket list.  As a proud member of the raccoon family, Mr. Boettcher looks forward to working with the finest young men and women in the state.


FHS Assistant Principal: Erica Castille

Erica Castille

Erica Castille became an assistant principal at Frisco High School in 2009. Ms. Castille has been in education for 13 years and an administrator for 8 of those years. Ms. Castille is a native of South Louisiana and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. After graduating, Ms. Castille moved to Texas to become a science teacher at Lake Highlands Freshman Center in Richardson ISD. While teaching, she earned her Master of Education in Administration from Texas A&M - Commerce in 2004. Prior to moving to Frisco High School, Ms. Castille was an assistant principal at Parkhill Junior High and the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) principal at L.V. Berkner High School in Richardson. In her free time, Ms. Castille enjoys going back to Louisiana to spend time with her family. Her hobbies include reading, spending time with friends, and traveling.


FHS Assistant Principal: Richard Oldham

Richard Oldham

 

Richard Oldham has returned to Frisco High School after four years as the Public Art Manager for the City of Frisco. He began his career in education in 1990 as the art teacher at FHS. A native of Oklahoma, Richard attended Oklahoma State University for his undergraduate studies before receiving his masters from the University of North Texas. He and his wife Sharon have two children and he enjoys spending time at the lake, the golf course and in his shop building stained glass windows. Richard is proud to be a returning member of the staff at Frisco High School and is excited to be part of “Raccoon Pride” again.
