Congratulations to our FHS swimmers and divers. They both won the district championship on Saturday in the 10 team 9 – 4A District Meet. The girl's team totaled 192 points, well ahead of 2nd place Lovejoy's 84 points. The boy's team totaled 162.5 points, 48 points ahead of 2nd place Wakeland's 114 points. Corey Nix took 1st in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events and set new school and pool records in both and received the Outstanding Male Swimmer Award for the District Meet.

Ben Maxwell tied for 6th in the 100 freestyle and Matt Anderson was 8th in the 100 freestyle
It was Frisco's girls 10th district title in the past 11 years and Frisco's boys 9th district title.
Frisco has 11 boys and 14 girls that have advanced to the Region III Meet in two weeks. Congratulations swimmers and divers for a job well done. |
