Members of our Engineering Club went to the Plano Convention Center yesterday to participate in the Engineering Week sponsored by Raytheon.  Members competed by building a robot and then innovating it in some way. Our team improved a remote controlled airplane into a solar powered troop transport. There were 3 categories: Most Unique Name, Most Creative and Best Teamwork. Our team, the Nighthawks, won Best Teamwork. Mr. Strong and Mr. Patterson accompanied the team.
