Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Program Changes
Beginning July 1, 2012, school nutrition programs will be required to follow new federal regulations. These new regulations are based on the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA). Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Program already meets many of the new requirements such as offering whole grains, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, and only offering low fat or fat free milk. End of Year Medication Procedure
The last day of school this year is Friday June 1st. We ask that you please come to school to pick up all of your child’s medication, including all over-the-counter and prescription medications, on or before that date. Any medication left in the clinic after June 1, 2012, will be destroyed. We hope you will understand that this is a safety measure to insure these medications do not fall into the wrong hands. This not only protects your child, but it protects other students as well. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

2012-13 Parent Meeting for Athletics, May 16
If your child is interested in participating for the Cobb athletic teams for the 2012-2013 year, then you will want to come to the information meeting. It will be held on May 16th at 6:00pm. Home Access Center (HAC)
Thank you for being an active part of your child's educational experience. When teachers and parents work together, students are successful! One way we can work together is by parents utilizing the Home Access Center (HAC)
.
HAC is a great tool to keep you on top of your student’s academic career as they become more independent and responsible. We hope you take advantage of this new form of student/parent involvement.
