 My name is Jim Kazanski and I am the principal of the KEYS program. I've been an administrator for 14 years with Frisco and Plano ISD's. Prior to that, I worked for 16 years as a teacher, coach, and athletic coordinator. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, and a Master of Education degree from TWU. My wife Kathy serves as principal at Ashley Elementary in FISD. Two of our three boys are college graduates and one is a Senior at Texas A&M. |

Both attended FISD schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, and graduated from Frisco High School. Kyle is now an Irving police officer and Kori attends Collin College. |

 My name is Lisa Vernon. I am a school social worker with Frisco ISD in the KEYS program. I have been a social worker and advocate for families for the past 20 years. My family and I moved to Frisco from Champaign, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and earned my B.A. in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. My husband and I have been married 18 wonderful years, have 4 wonderful children: Ronnie, Keonte, Jeren, and Landen. I am a dance instructor with the Alphabest program at Bright Elementary.

Shortly after graduating from Texas Tech in 1981, I began my teaching career in Richardson, Texas.
After 15 years in Richardson, I moved to Frisco, and worked at Rogers Elementary before coming to the KEYS program. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I have 2 children ages 27 and 25. My son and daughter-in-law teach in Frisco ISD. My daughter was recently married, and also teaches in Frisco. My first grandchild was born last October and I am having so much fun spoiling him!! |

 My name is Sue Stafford. I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State and Southeastern Oklahoma State Universities. After teaching 2nd grade in Duncan, Oklahoma, for ten years, I took a middle school job in Frisco in 1979. While with the district, I have taught middle school English, served as FISD migrant coordinator, and am currently teaching social studies at KEYS. I enjoy watching sports at all levels; I am an avid reader; and I love teaching kids. I have two adult children who are also teachers, and I enjoy spending my leisure time with my grandchildren.

 Hi, I am Mary Reck. I grew up in southeast Missouri. After high school I pursued a career in computer science and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in math and computer science. After graduation I worked for Control Data Corporation for several years. While working at CDC, I met and married Bob Reck. I was privileged to stay home with our children during their school years. After our youngest went to college, I earned my teaching certificate in math from UTD in Richardson, Texas. I taugh in Plano ISD and worked in their homebound program. I began teaching in Frisco in 2005 and love working with my students. My three children, Wade, Amy and Brett live in Atlanta, Ga., Dallas, and Washington DC, respectively. |

I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce in December, 2010. I have been married to my husband Chris for six years and we are expecting our first baby in October. I enjoy reading, shopping, playing golf and spending time with my family and friends.  Hi, I'm Les Baker and I teach Science and P.E.. This is my fourth year at KEYS and I am looking forward to working with the wonderful staff we have here. I was born in Ohio and have lived in Texas for the last 31 years, with a brief visit of five years in Las Vegas. I have been married to a wonderful lady, Kathy, for the last 10 years. I have a son who graduated from Ohio State University and now lives and works in Cincinnati. I have taught science for 16 years. I enjoy college sports, working out, and music. |

 My name is Heather McGowan. I graduated from Plano Senior High School and received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. I worked for a consulting firm for 5 years before going back to school for my teaching certification. I realized that helping children was truly my passion. I received my certification in Math and Special Education. I have taught middle school for the past 8 years in both McKinney and Frisco and am currently a Special Education and math teacher in the KEYS program. I also recently received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. My husband Sean and I have two children, Grant, who is 6 years old, and Gage, who is 2 and we are expecting twin girls this winter! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending sporting events, listening to music, going to dinner, and shopping! |

I have resided in Frisco for the past twenty years and remember when the Frisco area at Preston and Main was foreign to most residents. I began my education at Acker and now have the pleasure of teaching here too. My husband, David, and I are both Frisco High School graduates. I am teaching math in the STAR program. I was with the Gainesville ISD for 15 years where I taught 5th and 6th grade Computer Science. I have three children, all of whom are married and have blessed me with 7 grandchildren.
