Welcome to Centennial Athletics 2011 – 2012! Last year was a banner year for our entire athletic program as every team sport qualified for the playoffs for the first time in school history! We also continued to have great success in the individual sports as well. Every year the Dallas Morning News announces the “Top Ten” list in class 4A and 5A for their All Sports Awards. This past year Centennial moved up from 9th place the previous year to 5th in 2010-2011! That’s a tremendous accomplishment when you consider all the 4A schools in the coverage area! In addition to that honor, Centennial HS was recognized as an exemplary HS for the 3rd year in a row! CHS was one of only three 4A high schools in the state to receive an exemplary rating. Our student-athletes have done an awesome job representing Centennial and maintaining a very high academic standard and we expect this year to be no different. We appreciate your support of our athletes and look forward to another exciting school year! The following are some of the athletic accomplishments from this past school year:

- BOYS CROSS COUNTRY- 1 Individual Regional Qualifier
- FOOTBALL – Bi-District Playoffs
- BOYS BASKETBALL – Bi District Champs
- GIRLS BASKETBALL – Bi-District Playoffs
- BOYS WRESTLING- 6 Regional Qualifiers, 3 State Qualifiers, 3rd Place State Individual
- GIRLS WRESTLING- 1 Regional Qualifier, 1 State Qualifier, 1 State Champion
- BOYS SWIMMING- 5 State Qualifiers, State Runner-up Relay
- GIRLS SWIMMING- District Runner-Up, 4 State Qualifiers
- POWERLIFTING- 1 State Qualifier / State Runner-Up
- BOYS GOLF- District Champs, Regional Qualifiers
- GIRLS GOLF- District Runner-Up, Regional Qualifiers
- BOYS TRACK- District Runner-Up, 9 Regional Qualifiers, 1 State Qualifier
- GIRLS TRACK – District Champs, Regional Runner-Up, 5 State Qualifiers
- BASEBALL- Bi-District Play-offs
- SOFTBALL- Regional Quarterfinalists and still playing at this time
- BOYS SOCCER- Bi-District Champs
- GIRLS SOCCER- District Runner-up, Sectional Finalist
- TENNIS – 3 Regional Qualifiers
