Each Month, the Frisco Noon Rotary Club Spotlights Two Outstanding FISD Seniors. (March 2005)

In March, Elliot Winters and Eleonora Bass were recognized.

Eleonora Bass and Elliot WintersElliot is the son of Karl and Betsy Winters. At FHS he is a part of the chorale, the Independent Study Mentorship program (his topic is politics) and the Young Idealists organization, of which he is president. He is also an Eagle Scout, an intern at Washington Mutual and a member of Sam Johnson's Congressional Youth Advisory Council. He plans to attend Brigham Young University and to major in Political Science.

Eleonora is the daughter of Boris and Svetlana Bass. She moved to America and the Dallas area from Russia when she was 7 years old and moved to FISD in 6th grade. She is fluent in both English and Russian. At FHS, she is involved in choir, French Club, National Honor Society, and theatre. She has also done community theater and other volunteer work. Eleonora has not chosen her university or major at this time.
