Rotary Honors FISD Students(February, 2008)

Rotary Spotlight Students FebruaryEach month, the Frisco Noon Rotary Club honors outstanding Frisco ISD seniors for their accomplishments and achievements.

On Thursday, February 14, Rotarians recognized Wakeland High seniors Paul Lee and Melissa Salmon.

Paul is the son of Sung Kim. His involvements in high school have included tennis, National Honor Society, orchestra, Student Council and newspaper. He has been junior class president and NHS vice president and varsity tennis captain. Paul is active in his church, is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council as president and tutors other students. He is a National Merit Commended Scholar and plans to pursue a career in Neurosurgery.

Melissa is the daughter of Tim and Anna Salmon. In high school she has been involved in French Club (officer), National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Student Council and drill team. She is active in Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser, and also babysits and pet sits for others. She is interested in pursuing a career in architecture or civil engineering, possibly attending college in Canada.
