Lunchroom Snapshot
Students at Liberty High School move through the stir fry station, a pilot in FISD. Lena Wilson, Director of Child Nutrition for FISD, says that similar boxed meals are available at all high school campuses and that the stir fry station is being looked at at LHS first to determine its utility at the other high schools.
Frisco ISD has been authorized to accept online free and reduced meal applications. FISD is the first district in Texas to seek this ability and hopes it will help families to take advantage of the program and to accelerate the processing. Those who have already filled out an application this year need not reapply.

Those applying should make sure to have available their students' ID number, monthly income and or food stamp TANS ID and an email address for electronic signature verification per the US Department of Agriculture.

Those without internet access, may still fill out the paper form that are available at all campuses or at the Child Nutrition office. Internet access is also available at the city library.
